Chilli Chicken Recipe | How to make Chili Chicken | Healthy Chicken Recipe | Oye Gabruu

200 gm chicken breast

1 Whole egg

1 Tbsp. Corn Flour

1 Tsp. Soya Sauce

Salt Little


Chopped Onion

Chopped Green Chili

Chopped Capsicum

Finely Chopped Ginger and Garlic

Pinch of Black Pepper

1 Tsp. Chili Powder

Low Sodium Salt

1 Tbsp. Corn Flour

1 Tsp. Soya Sauce

1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

1 Tbsp. Ginger Garlic Paste

1-2 Tbsp. Olive Oil


In a bowl take 1 whole egg and add corn flour, soya sauce and a little bit of salt. Mix it well and make sure there are no lumps of corn flour. Then add curry cut 200 gm chicken breast into that mixture and coat it properly.

Give it a good mix so that chicken is covered properly in the marination and Cover dish with plastic wrap and you may keep the marination in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Once it is marinated, heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the marinated chicken. It will get cooked within 5 minutes. Once cooked set it aside on a plate.

Again place the pan on the flame add a little bit of oil and toss the ginger-garlic, green chili, cubed onions and capsicum. Once the onion turns golden brown and you start getting that aromatic ginger garlic smell you may add some water in the pan.

Once water starts boiling add some salt, pepper powder, paprika and soya sauce. To enhance the texture and consistency we will add cornstarch little bit.

Once the gravy starts thickening toss your shallow fried chicken into the gravy. Give it a good mix and stir it for 2-5 minutes to adjust the consistency of gravy as per your requirement.

Switch off the flame. Your tasty yummy guilt-free chicken chilly is ready to eat. Enjoy it with your favorite bread or cup of white or brown rice as per the health goal.
